5 Newsletter
5.1 Subscription to Our Newsletter

On the website of pfeifer marketing, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company's newsletter. The input mask used for this purpose determines which personal data is transmitted to the person responsible for processing when ordering the newsletter.
pfeifer marketing informs its customers and business partners at regular intervals by means of a newsletter about company offers. Our company's newsletter can only be received by the person concerned if (1) the person concerned has a valid e-mail address and (2) the person concerned registers to receive the newsletter. For legal reasons, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered by a data subject for the first time for newsletter mailing using the double-opt-in procedure. This confirmation email is used to check whether the owner of the email address, as the person concerned, has authorized receipt of the newsletter.
The personal data collected when registering for the newsletter will only be used to send our newsletter. Furthermore subscribers to the newsletter could be informed by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a relevant registration, as this could be the case in the case of changes to the newsletter offer or changes in the technical conditions. The personal data collected as part of the newsletter service is not passed on to third parties. The data subject can cancel the subscription to our newsletter at any time.
In this case, the processing of your personal data is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Insofar as we process your data for the purpose of the newsletter offer, as described above, you are contractually obliged to provide us with this data. Without this data, we will not be able to send you the newsletter.
We reserve the right to inform you in accordance with § 7 Para. 3 GDPR, to send you information on similar goods and services as those that you have obtained from us by email. You can object to the receipt of such information by email at any time. Each e-mail contains the information on how you can unsubscribe from receiving the e-mails with effect for the future. Furthermore, there is the option of unsubscribing from the newsletter dispatch directly on the website of the person responsible for processing or to inform the person responsible for processing of this in another way.
5.2 Newsletter-Tracking
Newsletters from pfeifer marketing contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in emails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This enables a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns to be carried out. Using the embedded tracking pixel, pfeifer marketing can recognize whether and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject and which links in the e-mail were called up by the data subject.
Such personal data collected via the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and evaluated by the person responsible for processing in order to optimize the sending of the newsletter and to better adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the person concerned. These personal data will not be passed on to third parties. The data subject is entitled at any time to revoke the separate declaration of consent given via the double opt-in procedure. After revocation, this personal data will be deleted by the person responsible for processing. Pfeifer marketing automatically interprets a cancellation from receiving the newsletter as a revocation. The use of tracking pixels is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The use of tracking pixels is based on our legitimate interest in the efficient design of online marketing campaigns and the fact that your legitimate interests do not outweigh your interests.
6 Security
We have taken technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All of our employees and all third parties involved in data processing are obliged to comply with the Federal Data Protection Act and the confidential handling of personal data.
